What would Jesus do? The same Jesus who said "I came not to bring peace, but a sword"..the same Jesus who kicked the crap outta the moneychangers in the temple..that Jesus? The only Son of the God who instructed the Jews long before to commit genocide upon the ancestors of the modern day "palestinians".. that guy? I think he'd be all for wiping out an evil tyrant who commits unspeakable acts upon his own people.

Winners write the new Theology Texts as well as the new History Books.
The only thing immoral is losing.

Jeremiah 50-51.
"The noise of battle is in the land, the noise of great destruction. Before your eyes I will repay Babylon and all
who live in Babylonia for all the wrong they have done in Zion, declares the Lord."

If there is such a thing as a "Just War" (I believe there is)
Then there must also exist an "Unjust Peace"

War by forces of Evil (Hitler, Soviet Union, Communist China, etc.) is immoral. War by forces of Good (the US, etc.) is moral. Pure and simple.

Failing to stand up to a tyrant and mass murderer is immoral.

Where the "Peace" marchers are carrying signs that say "Pray for Peace" or "Peace" etc... have this sign that counters
"Pray for Peace, Fight for Freedom".

I'd like to agree, but cannot agree totally. For example, I site our involvement in Somalia. We had no business being there.

Jesus in the temple, driving out the moneychangers WITH A WHIP, using violence, righteously angry. Jesus saying, "I didn't come to bring peace, but a sword." That kind of talk makes us squirm but it's in the Bible. Just offering it as a balanced view of the lim-wristed Jesus who turns the other cheek.

We have those weapons. If Bill Clinton has them, is it moral or immoral?
To: TommyDale
Very true. I ask these same peaceniks, if you see a child being abused, even threatened with their life, as an adult, are you not morally obligated to protect that child, even up to and including using force? The same thing applies to a corrupt dictator abusing innocent civilians.
