I'd be concerned about that 'New Directions for Tuba'.

That could be very troubling. ;^)

Not that I would necessarily advocate this, but if you want to quickly illustrate the great design weakness of unisex bathrooms(and perhaps hasten their demise), one could easily employ the LTS(Lid Tinkling Strategy).

Beat the Lib/ELF/anti-SUV/tree-spikers at their own game.

What race are you: African, American Indian, Asian, Australian, European, Indian, Melanesian, Micronesian, or Polynesian? Well, it DOES NOT MATTER!!! Come and be apart of Intercultural Pride’s executive board. We want you!!!!!

Put a Basque next to a Norwegian next to a Roma next to a Latvian, and explain to me how they're all part of this 'European' race. What a crock.

This reminds me of my freshman dorm floor of 35 guys protest against no having urinals.

One word....sinks.

We may have won that battle but ultimately lost the war.

But after a walk around campus, listening to the tour guide babble on about one commie guest speaker after another, from Mya Angelou(?) to Maddie Dullbite to Nelson Mandela and worse, I finally asked, "Don't you ever have a guest speaker who doesn't hate America? Why don't you call this place Commie College?"

You calls 'em as you sees 'em. Very good!

So the moral of this very sad story is that the politics of your school matter! All the curricula and resources and small class sizes and ideal settings, etc are only one piece of the puzzle. I would read the school paper, dissect the website, read what is being published by the staff long before making a final decision. The classes you take are only a part of the education you will be receiving!

Boy, that really needs to be discussed in Connecticut doesn't it?What type of question is that anyway?Isn't Conn. predominantly white?Who really cares? Sounds as if they need to 'get in touch' with themselves. LOL

I see some things back home never change. I used to play hockey at the rink there (81 - 84 time frame), but we never wasted our time hanging around the campus because all of the girls were snotty rich vegetarian tree-huggers.

I have a wonderful recipe with five beans that you would love! And, of course, it's great ammunition. But, aside from that, it's a great dish. It has meat in it though, which the peacepunks wouldn't like a'tall. Heeheehee

I remember going to one of those vegetarian potlucks ONCE (invited by someone I was considering as a beau) and being served some gritty grey dish--lentils, I do believe--and having people rave about the carrot cake I made. It, of course, was made with TONS of white sugar. Their collective bodies have probably not recovered.

Brings to mind what a dwarf friend of mine once told me. She said, "You know, a crowded elevator smells different to me than it probably does to you."
