A long read, but well worth the effort. The author details how Schroeder's government is deliberately keeping the German and world public uninformed of BND (German foreign intelligence service) evidence and assessments on the continued existence of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction (WMDs).

Powell laid out an unequivocal and comprehensive case against Saddam Hussein for the entire world to see. The question is not whether we will now act in time. The question is if it is now too late to avoid massive casualties of Iraqs chemical and biological weapons.
Any country that fails to join the Crusade of Righteousness to remove Saddam Hussein post-haste, should be viewed not merely as negligent, but as a committed enemy of the United States and World peace.

If it's not the height of hypocrisy and opportunism, Schroeder's preemptive "no war. period" stance on Iraq and insistence on a "German Way" (Deutscher Weg) certainly come close. Height of hypocrisy bump.
