For some reason, I don't like Shep and I can't really pinpoint why.

He seems like the kind of guy who would be equally at home on one of those info-tainment shows like "A Current Affair" or "Entertainment Tonight". Could that be what you're thinking of?

I like Shep Smith. He's natural.

After years of pompous talking heads ponderously telling me what to think and how to feel, why it is important that I understand that down is up and up is down, a completely unfeigned attitude like Shep's, combined with a normally very quick mind is a refreshing and much needed breath of air.
