[history]
Michael Stinson, a California-based Internet designer, wants the nation's most popular radio personality off the air. He calls his group "Take Back the Media," and has organized a boycott against 24 companies who advertise on Rush Limbaugh's daily show, heard by about 20 million people on more than 600 radio stations.

It's just like going to the primate house at the zoo.Yeah, the Audubon Park zoo in New Orleans where, in the 1960s there was a spider monkey who used to simultaneously suck one of his nipples and masturbate. Great date place!

Rush will go off the air when people stop listening. A handful of liberals boycotting products they never bought in the first place won't change anything. This sad, pathetic loser is devoted to a futile effort.

Yes, DU has been totally infiltrated by a Freeper PsyOps. Has been so for the longest time. They really are a hoot--though sometimes I feel sorry for their ignorance. They really seem to do need a Nanny Government to survive in this world. I just hope they don't breed very much....

Apparently, he's either never listened to RL or he doesn't know what fascism is (my guess is both).NO liberal knows the actual definition of fascism. NONE of them. Here's the definition I have:
A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator...
Thus, anyone that calls Rush a fascist either doesn't know the meaning of the word (and is thus an imbecile) or else believes Rush Limbaugh controls the United States of America (and is thus an imbecile).

"Anyone who goes against the pro-war agenda Rush calls 'anti-American,' " Mr. Stinson charged. This just has to be a DEMS talking point.
The "you're calling me anti-American" seems to always be the first offensive thrust of the anti-war libs. This is, of course, standard pinko doctrine: put your opponent on the defensive in order to avoid having to debate on the merits of your position. I for one am getting very tired of listening to Rush and Sean Hannity go out of their way to state that they are not calling these left wing wackos "anti-American". If it were me, I would concede the point since that are acting anti-American even if they don't think they are.
If you walk like a duck and talk like a duck well maybe you are a duck.

Bill has been known to have wack jobs on his show.

NO liberal knows the actual definition of fascism. NONE of themOf course not. They decided to rename it "corporatism" to fit in with their beliefs.

I was banned there for well, just being TLBSHOW! LOL
of course I only got in 3 posts and then the siren went off.
On a side note today I have the honor of helping the promoting of Free Republic and the great new book by Richard Poe. You know the one where it says Conservatives own the internet while the left wing nuts still don't know what its all about.
I am the friendly Freeper!

"Anyone who goes against the pro-war agenda Rush calls 'anti-American,' " Mr. Stinson chargedDid Rush really say that, or is it just something this mouse Stinson made up?

That red line will disappear soon. The curiousity seekers will drop off and the yawning will begin.

Here's a message to that creep: If you don't like Rush, don't listen to him. This isn't a dictatorship where you can send someone off to the gulag because you don't like him. What an ass...

Average Protestors: Total Kook Wackos
On Monday, I rolled audio from that big anti-American protest in DC. Anti-American protest? I didnt hear about that Maybe thats because the press wrongly identified the protestors as anti-war. That's a misnomer, since no one wants war. No, these people are anti-American, anti-capitalism, anti-freedom and pro-dictatorship. They're retreads, or young people acting out an era the 60s that they missed.
I told you in Hour One on Monday that you could find signs and issues at this protest from the pro-choice crowd or the animal rights crowd. Sure enough, by Hour Two I had a Washington Post story in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers documenting signs on Roe v. Wade, legalizing pot, etc. Yet the mainstream press looks at these protests as nostalgia, and doesn't bring us an accurate picture of who attended the Bash America 2003 Festival.
Doing the job the mainstream press used to do at this rally: Dan Flynn of National Review. You can hear me read quotes from this great piece, where he recounts mingling with the protestors, in the audio link below. You had the usual comparisons of Bush to Hitler, and more creative pap like one man's insistence that Bush let 9/11 happen so he could build a worldwide planetary death machine in space. Some handed out pamphlets on the right of North Korea to have nukes. A phrase the mindless frequently mouthed compared 9/11 to breaking a fingernail. Read this article and listen to the audio. You need to know the truth, and laugh at these relics. They're more irrelevant today than ever.

Washington Times Hatchet Job on me and Limbaugh BoycottHatchet Job? Let's see.
Rush haters
Well, he fully admits he is.
All true, stipulated by Stinson, except the Rush carriage/ratings stats which are common knowledge.
Mr. Stinson denounces Mr. Limbaugh ? the bane of liberals everywhere ? as a "hate-radio entertainer." In fact, Mr. Stinson condemns talk radio itself as "a hotbed of vicious right-wing hate speech."
Are these misquotes, Mr. Stinson?
"Anyone who goes against the pro-war agenda Rush calls 'anti-American,' " Mr. Stinson charged. "Well, some of these protesters honored their country by serving in the military."
Are these misquotes, Mr. Stinson?
Mr. Stinson added: "We are getting about 14,000 views a day at our Web site," www.takebackthemedia.com. "We've made some progress, but we're being stonewalled, too."
What in this paragraph is hateful, Mr. Stinson? And again, is this a misquote? Where's the hatchet, anywhere in this story?
