More Details in Former Weapons Inspector's Arrest (Caught In Sex Sting Once Before)
WRGB Online ^ | 1/21/03

More details are emerging on the arrest of former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter. The Delmar resident was arrested by Colonie police in June of 2001 on a misdemeanor charge. And Channel 6 News has learned that Ritter had been issued a warning after being caught by police once before. Colonie police will not confirm any of this, but Channel 6 News learned that Ritter was caught in a sex sting early in 2001. He was issued a warning then, but eventually arrested for the same thing three months later. Ritter, who has made national headlines for speaking out against going to war with Iraq is keeping silent on this issue. He has been unavailable for comment since details of his arrest were made public. In June of 2001, Ritter was accused of engaging in a sexual discussion, on the Internet with a person who he thought, was a 14 year old girl. It was actually an undercover investigator who agreed to meet with Ritter. When Ritter arrived at the location, expecting to meet the girl, police warned him that he had been set up. Three months later Ritter allegedly fell into the same trap, only this time he was arrested. The misdemeanor charge relating to child endangerment was eventually disposed of and sealed. Assistant District Attorney Cynthia Preiser has since lost her job over the incident. Albany County DA Paul Clyne fired Preiser on Friday because he says she never informed him that the case against Ritter even existed. Prieser would not comment and Ritter has also been unavailable for comment. The case against Ritter was eventually sealed, preventing everyone from disclosing details about the case. In fact, Ritter can deny it ever happened since sealed cases essentially mean, it never happened. CNN tells Channel 6 News, Ritter is on his way to Baghdad, but will be in New York City tomorrow to shoot an anti war message.

Kind of makes you wonder how many other times the court has covered up for him -- while sending ordinary non-communist offenders to jail.

I am beginning to think that Ritter is seriously mentally ill and I don't mean just the child molesting. There seems to be a pattern here. When he first came back from Iraq he attacked Clinton and claimed that it was his fault that he wasn't able to do his job, then after he got caught in the internet sting operation, he turns on Bush. He is always blaming someone else for his troubles and loves the attention that it gets him. He was even compelled to show off his masturbation skills to an underage girl after being warned by police.

And why.

"...and loves the attention that it gets him."

And what specifically did he proposed to do with his most recent victim? Exhibitionism.

Why, after receiving a warning the first time, did he get away with it the second time around? A repeat offender, and he walks away from it? Wasn't anyone concerned that the next time it might not be an undercover cop?

Kind of makes you wonder how many times he was not caught by us but by the Iraqis - and how much videotape they have on the guy. No wonder he did a complete reversal. All the evidence of his perversion in the hands of 'nice old wouldn't hurt a fly so don't go to war with him' Saddam.

Did you say caught by the Iraqis? Try supplied and videotaped by the Iraqis. I'll bet Ritter has a long history as a pedophile offender.

Dennis Halliday is a former UN official - not an inspector- who has on occasion gone on the guest speaker circuit with Scott Ritter, only in Halliday's case he is over the oil for food program- or he was. I have no proof yet but I'm guessing that Halliday dips deeply into petrodollars- UN corruption knows no bounds- I know this from Somalia where their only concern was the comfort of their offices and what they and the warlords could bleed out of the aid program. Anyway, back to ritter's friend: Halliday's a nasty guy who cloaks his desire to see the Baathists remain in power with his "concern" for the suffering of the Iraqi people. I came across this letter from an Iraqi expatriate site:

Re: Report on the Denis Halliday meeting against the sanctions held in Dublin July 9, 2000 By Mohammed Al-Sadr
(IFD Representative in Ireland) Salam,
As I invited him to Cardiff in Wales for his lecture, Monday 10th July, I too have met Denis Halliday, as well as exchanging innumerous emails before and since the event - I deduced regretably that he too is in Saddam's pocket.  I also stongly believe that he errs, as he has no right to understate the horrific experiences of Saddam's victims, which I observed he persistently continues to do, with his pacifist and communist friends.  Denis is going to Baghdad in October .... to collect his reward from the Demon whom he repeatedly asks us all not to demonise perhaps ?
Best wishes,
Sister Moonirah

IFD response.
Dear sister Moonirah,
As-salaamu alaikum. We, the members of the IFD, and I am sure every Iraqi man, woman and child who value freedom, justice and democracy, congratulate you on your wonderful work. Your work is a shining light of truth, not just for the Kuwaiti people, but for the Iraqi people too. Your efforts are commended by us at the IFD for we both have the same goal and both the Iraqi and Kuwaiti people have suffered as a result of the crimes of saddam. It is through unity of purpose and goal that we can strengthen our resolve and our efforts in both trying to bring freedom and justice for the captive Kuwaiti people held by saddam, and for the indictment of the criminal saddam and his regime by the International Criminal Court. Only through a free and democratic Iraq, can peace come to its land and can that country live at peace with not just our beloved Kuwait, but also with all the family of nations.
Sincerely,
Mohammed Al-Sadr
Member of the Board of Directors
Iraqi Forum for Democracy

"...for the indictment of the criminal saddam and his regime by the International Criminal Court."

This man's a dreamer. The ICC isn't about to put him on trial after their comrades in the WWP have conferred sainthood on him.

Not only why they covered up for him but why would a DA with 15 years on the job risk her job and eventually get fired for covering up.

Also, we now know from published reports, Ritter tried twice to meet up with a child for some sort of sexual contact. Seems to me he was mighty confident to get caught and warned ones (the 14 year old) just to try again 3 months later. How many times was he able to meet with a child for sex? How many children out there have been abused by this guy?

True, maybe they will settle for a lamp post, but there are a lot of groups that want a piece of Saddam Hussein.

And still not a peep about this story on Drudge.
Now I know why I visit "Hollywood Matt" only once or twice a day.

Yes. I should have mentioned that. TLBSHOW told me on another thread that Drudge had Ann Coulter on his radio show to talk about it. I believe it was Sunday night.

That was "yes" to Drudge talking about Ritter - I don't know if Ritter has been on his show. I don't think he has had him on to talk about the arrest.

You know, I'm thinking that it would be poetic justice to turn pedophile traitor Ritter over for a little Sarria (or whatever the freek they call it).

You know, Islamic justice, where thet cut off his genitalia and gouge out the eyeballs of pedophiles.

Ouch! That would probably leave a bruise, or at least hurt in the morning.
