this is just the beginning, as you know, GailA.

Next election, we'll see some change IMHO...a few more anti-income taxers and a few less income taxers. maybe they'll be split by party, maybe not.

but you Vols have stood up to the machine and now know you can do it again. voting day will be phun for you.

What we need is a redrawing of the lines. Here in Nashville-Davidson County we have 10 House seats total, 9 'Rat to 1 Republican and the voting ratio is roughly 60-40% 'Rat, sometimes higher, more often lower since most Republicans choose to sit out those races due to the obscene gerrymandering. The most number of seats we held here was only 2 out of 10 (in the early '70s and again in the late '80s to early '90s when the 'Rats merged the 2 seats into one). We should have at least 4 of the 10 seats, which would put us only 2 seats away from control of the House.
