Believeing the Bible and what it says brings a person to peace. Believing what the Koran says teaches a person to hate Jews and Christians.
I guess it depends on your definition of what a "fundamentalist Christian" is. It can be anything from someone who is devout and interprets the Bible literally to those who insist that creationism be taught in public schools to conscientious objectors to apocalypse cultists to those who bomb abortion clinics because "abortion is murder".
Or it can be those who are obeying what it says in spreading the Gospel, and teaching the Church to obey God's word. Name your poison.
My overall point is that "fundamentalism", often a euphemism for "extremism", does not, in and of itself, justify condemnation of an entire belief system -- whatever it may entail.
Just as fundamentalist Christians shouldn't be cause for destroying Christianity, fundamentalist Muslims shouldn't be cause for destroying Islam. The term "fundamentalist" isn't a loop hole for the Religion of Peace... it's absolutely forbidden to be non-fundamentalist in Islam. That's why fatwahs are issued... that's why muhammadens utilize pseudonyms whenever they risk criticizing Islam. When was the last time a Christian fundementalist hid their name from their brothers in faith?
