Seems like a low blow to me. The Border Patrol is extremely underfunded, isn't it? Perhaps she is referring to the INS bureaucrats in DC.

Did anyone else hear Mike Reagan today? He told of some Mexican Consular officials in the San Diego area who somehow got hold of INS badges and claimed they were with the INS to police. The cops had arrested five or six illegals in San Diego after a car chase during which two women were killed when the perp's car hit a bridge abutment. The fake INS agents took the perps to hospitals and then had them released. The perps disappeared. How, pray tell, do Mexicans get INS badges?

The Mexican officials may have been engaged in a drug operation as the perps were carrying pot in the truck. The INS apparently has the power to trump the cops and take control of illegals, at least in CA. When will the gummint get the message that Mexico is running our border area, not us? The end of law and order is here and no one seems to care in the new Dept. of Homeland Security.
