I haven't decided if these people are actually anti-war, or just anti-American.

By in large, the 60s version of these people were anything but anti-war. They loved any war, anywhere, as long as the Commie side was winning. I suspect the same is true today.

These are the same people who deny that they spat on our vietnam veterans.

I will be there and Im bringing my 15yr old son, I just want him to see this with his own eyes so that he will remember the disrespect and the LOATHING that these people harbor for people with the wrong point of view.

If it gets really ugly we are going to have to retreat unless there is adequate protection from these Maoist 'revolutionaries'.

They were spit on, and that was the least of offenses.

I feel sorry for anyone who does try to attack the vets, the poor sap doesn't know what they're in for. They've got this image of veterans as creaky old fogeys who cower in corners.

Hopefully, the Veterans won't have to do anything like that. Hopefully, the pogeys (police) will keep an eye on the peaceniks.. (I know, I know.. pipe dream/wishful thinking.)

The media would like to portray the rioting, destruction of personal property and physical assualt during large protests by leftists as a few bad apples.

Don't believe them. If what my father says is true, most groups have a tactical wing with enforcers.

I hope that some of these vets and their supporters go to the protest prepared to kick ass if necessary. One of my lifelong wishes is that some commie scum would attack me at some demonstration, so I could beat the crap out of him on national TV. Some of these vets (the non-disabled ones) should still be in good shape, and must have had hand to hand combat training. If not, just bring some brass knuckles, lead pipes, and bike chains. It is time for the right to stop being intimidated and start fighting back.
