a good number of those jackasses are gone. See Gary Condit.
Rohrabacher has always struck me as a pompous jerk so his position isn't surprising.

If this was yesterday, how did Condit, Bonior and McKinney vote, they were not elected in November?

"Rohrabacher has always struck me as a pompous jerk so his position isn't surprising."

He takes credit for being an "expert" on Afghanistan.
He rents his local office (Huntington Beach) from a Palestinian business interest.

His staff become indignant, if asked whether the Palestinian business interests that are friendly to Dana, have been investigated for funneling money to Palestinian terrorists.

"Surprisingly they are mostly Democrats."

"Surprisingly" ... as if we should have expected all racists to be Republicans. I resent that.

It's really no surprise that they're mostly rats, and furthermore, it's no surprise that those rats managed to turn expectations of such racism toward the Republicans.

They hurl accusations of racism in every direction, yet have turned the actual practice of racism into a virtual recreational sport. We need to start standing up and making statements like: "Predictably, most of them are themselves race-baiting Democrats."

It's time for conservatives to stop tossing whiffle balls in a game of hardball. Patty Murray should be given the Trent Lott treatment, the Congressional Black Caucus should be proclaimed as irrefutably racist, and these congresscritters should be put on the defensive for their racism.

I am very surprised to see Ron Paul from Texas voting NO.

I'm not.

They call him "Dr. No."

When the House of Representatives voted to award a congressional medal to civil rights icon Rosa Parks, only one member was opposed -- Rep. Ron Paul.

The Texas Republican was the only member to vote against a bill to help runaways and exploited children, and the only opponent for a bill against "date rape" drugs. When the House voted 400-1 urging Haiti to conduct free and peaceful elections, and 418-1 urging China not to use force against Taiwan, he was the 1.

His bold voting record is rooted in his strict view of the U.S. Constitution. He believes the federal government has gotten too powerful and he opposes any program that isn't authorized in the Constitution. He consistently votes against congressional medals -- even the one for former President Ronald Reagan -- because he thinks their $30,000 cost is a waste of taxpayer money...(cont)

CLONE RON PAUL NOW!

The Anti-Semite Caucus.

Oh yeah, every critic of Israel is automatically an anti-Semite.

What were the resolutions for exactly?

More info on Ron Paul from the above-linked article:

"Paul opposed the Clinton administration's overseas military actions because they ignored the constitutional requirement to get Congress' approval before declaring war. He opposes foreign aid and resolutions on foreign governments because he doesn't believe the United States should boss around other countries.

He votes against most appropriations bills because they usually include programs that he says are not sanctioned by the Constitution. He says programs such as the one for missing and exploited children are best handled by the states. He opposes the minimum wage because he doesn't think Congress should meddle in private employment matters."

Does the fact that Paul routinely "opposes foreign aid and resolutions on foreign governments" really make him "anti-semitic," as the above posters alleges?

There is a very big difference between the two. I won't defend him, but when we aren't accurate we look foolish.
