[history]
I read the recent article on the U.S. Supreme Court considering the issue of affirmative action once again "Affirmative action reconsidered," Dec. 3, page A-10). The article reports the argument made by University of Michigan law school in support of their biased admission policy, which they wish to retain. This fact is frequently cited in newspaper articles on the subject, but never investigated properly.
