The Saudis have a choice. They can admit they're cowards who have been shaken down by folks who hate them, or they can believe they're funding something they believe in.

They choose delusion, and the world pays with the death of innocents

The pain of admitting they're foolish and hated cowards is unthinkable to these people, so they hand money to those who would kill us , and would kill them if they had the chance.

What to do? Democracy won't work. A vote would hand over all the money to alQuada, not just some of it. Saudi citizens have been told their problems are caused by the West (and Israel). Our values, , our beliefs, our ways. We're the scapegoat. If it weren't for us, Arabs would all regain past glory. It's our fault and Israel's fault that their country is soooooooo lame.

Here's the problem. If you tell them the truth -- that the way their religion is being taught and practiced, is holding them back, you'll weaken the hold the House of Saud has on these folks. Without the truth, they'll continue to subsidize death all over the modern world. Somewhere there's a win, but it seems hidden for now.
