The problem is that Bushs' faith based initiative goes beyond that. What I mean is as a taxpayer I get to foot the bill for religions I am at complete odds with. This policy cannot discriminate against who comes for money or dictate their agenda. For example, I'm not interested in funding ANYTHING for Muslims. Zilcho. Yet under the faith based initiative, they are just as eligible as any other "faith".
Must I remind you that the role of government is not to get involved with religion. Certainly funding it does just that.
