I generally agree with this assessment.
We have to realize that our enemies will always win the propaganda war in the international press - we will have to settle for being feared rather than loved.
With a Chamberlain-style appeaser in Seoul, our options are limited.

We will never go to war against N. Korea. China will certainly join N. Korea against us. We cannot afford that. Our invasion of N. Korea will enflame the entire region and the nuclear threat against S. Korea, Japan and our own military bases in the Aelutians.
Should we conquer N. Korea without a nuclear exchange, what would be the spoils? There is no prize there.

We will take out the NK reactor when we take out SH.It will happen so quick the world will be astounded.I believe you are correct. However, I suspect we'll also take out that wacko leader of theirs at the same time to bring about regime change. We'll use conventional weapons but in a very heavy strike - no ground troops.
If the N Koreans retaliate by attacking S. Korea we'll intensify our air strikes and perhaps use small tactical nuclear weapons to minimize damage to S. Korea. Mr. Rumsfeld is not someone the N. Koreans want to fool with.
