I know that the reactions from young people can be somewhat disconcerting regarding Christmas. A lot of us have been "engineered" to view Christmas as a neutral day. I'd like to tell everyone to take heart though, because not all of the younger generation has forgot how important Christmas is. I am 25, and I have two young children that I plan to raise to understand how great and special of a time Christmas is. There are a lot of twenty somethings like me doing the same thing. The younger generation is not totally lost!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

not all of the younger generation has forgot how important Christmas is. I agree with this. I teach in a mothers-day-out program. Last week I asked the kids in each class to tell me something about Christmas. Several of these 3-to-5-year-olds said it was about God or Jesus. All hope isn't gone yet.
(And one girl - 4 years old - even mentioned writing thank-you notes. Some early training is going on there, too. She's already doing better than I ever did!)
