I'm curious how they will feel when they get McConnell or Nickles as the new majority leader. Lott won't step down. He will resign. Mississipi has a Democratic Governor. He will appoint a Democrat to replace Lott. When Chaffe or Snowe move over to the Democratic side the NEW MAJORITY leader in 2003 will be DASCHEL. McConnell or Nickles will be the new MINORITY leader.
