Ralph Reed had nothing to do with white conservative democrats voting Republican. Roy Barnes did it to himself.

Roy Barnes wasn't entirely to blame for his loss. Reed reached out to those voters in a targeted way.

Roy Barnes antagonized just about every voting group in Georgia. I agree that Ralph Reed aand the Repubs nare getting too much credit for this. Although I didn't vote for Barnes, the guy sdhow a lot of guts in some areas. He took on the teacher's Unions and tenure and refused to back down. I don't think he is politically finished in any way. He does need to learn tact and quit acting like a bull in a china cabinet.
