Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!
Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

Few of those are listed as Hispanic in the Census, though I suppose the Perez's may be, since that has still retained its Hispanic spelling.
However IIRC the Census takers in S La are not supposed to list persons as Hispanic if their ancestors were already in the USA before 1930, if they know any French or Portuguese, or if the generation over age 50 appx knows no Spanish!
Apparently, some with a surname of Gonzales were NON Hispanic, but if they had spelled it with a z, Gonzalez, they would be listed as Hispanic.

I'm no Mr. Grammer
Strike one (swingandmiss). On who gramms is a grammer. But if you ask your Grandma, she'll tell you you're no Mr. Grammar.

I've always liked the Southern "downupunner" the house as the place where one hid one's cigarettes as a child.

On who gramms
oops -- I mean "one" who gramms

I always respond to that question by saying I'm finer than frog hair. And if someone asks me how I'm doing, the answer is, "Without..." - most people take a while for that to sink in.. I like the "Without..."! I seem to remember the character of COL Potter on MASH saying in reponse to something he thought unreasonable "Monkey muffins!", among others. I like that phrase.

I have no idea, but maybe some absentee votes will come out quickly if they count them beforehand. Otherwise, except for exit polls, if there are any (are there?), it usually takes about 90 minutes to start getting some same day votes in most states. It might be quicker if LA uses touch screen ballots. Do they?

Mine is about 50/50. It was pretty slow, but it always is. I think my precinct must be very small.
