Tell us how crowded/not crowded it was when you went to vote!
Did you see voter fraud and what is the talk about exit polling and the possible outcome?

ROFL!!!! that is great!!!!
Ditto that, I copied it to my pictures.

One factor in my calculation is: "Presidential Regrets."
In 2000, Bush got just 53% of the Louisiana vote. My own latest figures show that if the Bush/Gore race were being held today, W would have 74.4% of the 2pv, which throws out minors and spoiled. THAT MEANS THAT OF ALL LA VOTERS, 21.4% supported GORE, but REGRET it!
Under such conditions, how can anyone say that Mary could win, especially since she scored only a hairbreadth win in 1996.
If there has, in other words, been a 21.4% shift to the Republicans just since 2000, she was toast even a year ago, and didn't even know it.

Yes but isn't Landrieu famous for waiting until the end to see what she needs to pull out of her cheat pool to make it over the top? Hopefully the Republicans are on top of that this time.

The upper bound of the 99% interval is 59.5% Terrell. As stated earlier, the lower bound is 52.25% Terrell.

Just took a tour of the DU freakshow and hardly any mention of the La election by the resident psychos. Maybe they sense impending doom? Maybe after Nov 5th, they are just having a hard time getting enthusiatic about election results.
Especially since even if they do win this seat, they will still be in the minority. Not too much for them to get excited about really.
Where's McAwfull and the rest of the Dem big mouths?

Fox news just gave a report. Said turnout so far in New Orleans is low and fairly high in GOP areas. They warned it will be a very long night.

"all the news channels are going overboard with this Iraq stuff today....." They will repeat the same noninformation over and over and over all weekend and in the end it will all be meaningless anyway. I hate weekend news. It is so NOT happening!

Mary's only hope of winning is the black vote.

They are keeping quiet because Mary wants them too...

For Dems maybe, but us R's are already partying.

Naw, they are preoccupied talking about how Martin Sheen would make a great President. Oh Lord!!!!!!!!!
To: cajungirl
So far it is sounding like the turnout is highest in Republican areas. Great! The reports on Fox sound as if it just the opposite in the Rat camps. Let's hope the trend continues. Of course there is still always the manufactured votes.

HIP HIP HOORAAAAAAAYYYYY! This is good news this early in the race!! :)
To: crystalk
You must be projecting a huge turnout of white voters if you are looking at 1.5 million this time with a depressed black turnout. The primary had some 1.26 million turnout. This would break the 50% turnout barrier.

They said the same thing about Colorado.
To: Temple Owl
Fox will say it'll be a very long night, because they have to work - and they think that since that's so, people should be obliged to tune in.

Have my "Official Election Result" marked on My Favorites awaiting the polls to close ~ What time do the LA polls close? Also, how is the congressional race doing? When we win this seat, we'll have exactly the same count as after the 1994 elections ~ 230/204/1 ~ YEA!
