"You cannot criticize the PC."

I have been fired from a job because my flaming gay boss did not like my family values and felt uncomfortable around me. Where I work now I am completely free to express any opinion that a liberal Democrat would express -- otherwise I must keep my mouth shut -- they are all Bush-haters. If my current power structure knew that I actually voted Republican I might be out the door in short order. I work in California and things are probably worse here.

My sympathies. Life is short, perhaps you'd be happier leaving California for the Bible belt or something.
