MLE shred targets aboard USS Austin: U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility(November 24, 2002) -- Marines from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) Marine Liaison Element took some to work on their marksmanship skills while aboard the USS Austin (LPD-4).
During the training the Marines fired their M-16A2s M-9 pistols and M-249 Squad Automatic Weapons.
