Please stop in and say thanks to our military lurkers.
Post your Thanksgiving graphics, jokes, prayers, stories, music, links etc.
Will you take some time to put a smile on a military lurkers face today?
Tonk's Thanksgiving message to All of You.
I am thankful for YOUR support of the military, their family members and veterans.
Today I will spending my day at the Coast Guard Base working in the Operations Office
then having Thanksgiving Dinner with my Brothers and Sisters at the base.
Know that I'll be letting them know about YOUR support for the military.
God Bless You and Yours.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to All in the Military, past and present
Tonkin, may God continue to Bless you abundantly for all that you do for our miltary.
May He also Bless and keep safe those men and women of the military who have given of themselves to keep us free.
May the Lord, our God, hold our fallen heroes close to His heart in His loving arms for they have given all to ensure our freedom.
May He give comfort to the families of those fallen heroes and give wisdom to all Americans to honor and respect those that continue to keep us free.
Warmest thanks to all of our wonderful Service Personnel.

Hi, Tonkie! Wow, what a day, huh? I'm taking a break from the kitchen to come and give you a hug, and to say this:
TO THE TROOPS:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to each and every one of you. I wish you could be at my house today. About half our guests won't be here as planned, and we have a 20-pound turkey that needs attention. Our children are scattered and spending the day elsewhere, and we would love to share it with you.
Here's the menu: Turkey (of course), home grown, hand mashed potatoes, giblet gravy made in the pan, broccoli, cauliflower, carrot veg mix, home canned sweet corn, homemade whole berry cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, deep-dish apple pie, and homemande ice cream.
If you can get away, you just come on. All uniforms welcome today! (Plus, we'll probably show a movie or two: LOTR/FOTR or Star Wars Episode II, or even Spiderman!). Sounds like a DAY to me!
Love and great big hugs to all of you. God bless you richly. And thank you for serving so proudly. We are blessed to have you as guardians of our freedom.
(Heh! I only look like this to my husband!)

A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are,God is, And all is well. Amen.
.
Bless This House
Bless this house O Lord we pray;
Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout,
Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall,
Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove
ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright,
Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there,
with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within,
keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be
Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we
May dwell O Lord with thee.
