I've done this for several years now. Usually end up with over 70% of the items I had planned to buy and much lower prices.

Got that Walmart $48 DVD player for hubby which is the only thing he wanted for Christmas, and jeans and sweats for my grown up kids. Matthew's toys were bought last month. As he will only be 14 months old this Christmas I chose a Leap Pad Phonic Radio and a Fisher Price scooter. Granny isn't a push over...YET.
