Geez. I hvae to say, some of this stuff absolutely terrifies me. I hope once I get around 35-40, they have lots better meds for the heart.
I remember several years ago, there was a story about this one family in some European country that has genes that protect the heart from any kind of plaque buildup. They were going to try to make this into some medicine. I have not heard anything about it since.

As speaking from experience, it is easier to start good habits when you are 19 than when you are 29 and when you are 39. You may despise exercise now, but it is much easier than spending $$$ for pills.
Surely there is some form of "exercise" that you like, even if it is playing pool.
I'd look into doing something rather than relying exclusively on modern medicine when there might be more damage.

My friend's best friend just dropped dead last week eating his cereal at breakfast...he was 25....major heart attack. He was 6'2 180. Apparently blocked artery...went unseen. Talk about scaring the crap out me when I heard that!
