BTW, McDonnell Douglas has produced some famous aircraft, such as the F-4 PHANTOM II, F-15 EAGLE, F/A-18 HORNET, WWII-era C-47 SKYTRAIN, and the DAUNTLESS dive-bomber.
Convair (later General Dynamics, later Lockheed-GD) built the F-102 DELTA DAGGER, F-106 DELTA DART (flown by George W. Bush), supersonic B-58 HUSTLER nuclear bomber, and the F-16 FIGHTING FALCON (VIPER, under Lockheed).
