We were just talking with some experts a couple of days ago

I'd like to be a fly on the wall at THAT meeting... LOL!
Who are these "experts"?
And why are they talking to them NOW?
Are they the same "experts" they got advice from BEFORE bloody Tuesday?
If so, WHY?
If not, why?

Let's try this on for size:

Little Tommy was talking to some "experts" and they said,

McAuliffe: "Hey! After OK City, Clinton was able to turn the tables on the Republicans by blaming it all on Rush Limbaugh. Of course it was all BS, but the fools out there in flyover country--huh? Oh stuff it. You think they're fools too. After all, they elected you didn't they--heh-heh, easy, Tom, just kidding. But they swallowed it hook, line, and sinker before and they'll swallow it again."

"Why don't you go out and make a statement about the new round of "right-wing hate"--religious fundamentalism would be a good angle, smear the Christians in the process by tying them to the Islamic maniacs."

"Yes, I know Rush has no use for religious fundamentalism but the average schmuck in the Party doesn't know that-- so just go out there and tell the world about all the death threats you're getting now--oh yeah, and do the Gore thing, throw your wife and kids in too-- because of Rush--"

"No? Well hell, just make it up--that's what Clinton did and it worked for him for years. Beside, the media will repeat it as written for them, you know that--no one will ask you any hard questions about actual facts or specific threats or anything."

"This will get you even, too, by the way, for that thrashing Limbaugh gave you last week when he busted you wide open on his show!"

Daschle: "Yeah...death threats...from Limbaugh listeners...yeah...that's the ticket! Peter, Dan and Tom will eat it up! Chris Matthews will go nuts! Thanks, Dick, you're a genius!"
