Yes. That's exactly what they're thinking. And that's why we should adopt that mentality.

I think our side can win. We (because of people like you) simply lack the stomach for it.

America didn't seek this fight. America hasn't systematically targeted Muslims. It was they who chose this war.

Now we must destroy them.

In my post that you originally responded to, I suggested that it would be better for us to use precision targeting, rather than nuclear holocaust that turns the entire desert into glass. I guess that is where we differ.

The problem with us "winning" is that the muslims are spread throughout the world. Yes, we can "nuke mecca" and destroy a small bit of their population, but it doesn't remove the mosque just across town from you. Nor does it do anything to hinder the little cell that might be in my town. In fact, it might incite them to do more.

This war, as you know, is and will be unlike any other that has been fought. To borrow a phrase, when there are defined borders, language, and culture you have a nation, one that can be fought and rendered harmless. The muslims have nothing of the kind, they are mixed through-out the world in every society and culture, they claim to be American, English, French, Iraqi and every other nationality you could mention.

So when we start "killing every one of the muslims" do you think we should just transgress the borders of the countries of the world to kill every one of them we can find? Or would it be better to have our allies round them all up, put them on trains and send them out to holding camps until a final solution can be obtained? You are talking about millions of people here, and there is really no way we could kill them all.
