No, just terrorists and their domestic US sympathizers, those who are or were affiliated with groups on the Attorney General's List of Subversive Organizations as as the Ku Klux Klan, and those who travel on my country's passport in any kind of public effort to subvert official US foreign policy. Hmmmmm...just wondering how far Free Republic was from being on Janet Reno's "list of subversive organizations"?
I think I preferred life under the "rule of law"...I guess I'm just too old fashioned and have trouble getting on board with this trendy new fascist schtik.

Duke must be right at home, as all I see in that newspaper is a bunch of uptight guys wearing white sheets. :)

I think Duke is destined to be the Ezra Pound or Lord Haw Haw of this generation. He's going to wind up in an enemy capital in wartime broadcasting for the enemy, and then die in prison for treason (unfortunately, we no longer hang traitors).

What is the matter? Missing David already? Poor little racist! All that vitriol and no way to spew. There has to be another context to this but not during family hour!

And you felt you "had to" vote for a notoriously corrupt Democratic party hack because...

I agree with you. Most every post here has been a predictable Stupid Party pavlovian response to a figure that the leftist media they allegedly despise has conditioned them to instinctively hate. David Duke's views aren't as "extreme" or "racist" or "anti-semitic" as those held by the majority of elected public officials as recently as 40 years ago. If that doesn't show you just how far left we have drifted, and continue to drift, I don't what would.

Because the alternative was to vote for a goose-stepping, hood-wearing, Nazi-salute-giving, unrepentent former Grand Imperial Gizzard of the KKK and worshipper of Hitler.

Duke is the type of dirtbag that gives us white guys a bad name I am going to repeat a comment I heard on NPR that I had to agree with(sorry but I live in Germany and they play it on the American Forces network on the weekends) and is relevant to this post and the subsequent conversation.
Please don't take it the wrong way. It should be understood as a "give credit where credit is due" and "even a blind squirrely occassionaly finds a nut) type of comment.
OKay, here it goes:
The only (and I emphasize only) thing that liberals have ever done for the United States that is positive is to make it no longer acceptable for a decent, respectable person to say racist things in public.
There, I said it. It is true. Let's move on.
No wait, they also gave us Walter Mondale - twice.

Well, I think if you visit David Duke's website you'll probably see that he's really quite extreme with his racism these days - so I'd be the last person to say that he's not "way out there". However, you don't see people calling for the revocation of Quannel X's passport, or Louis Farrakan's passport.
We're supposed to have freedom of speech in this country.
Sidenote: Extreme times do call for extreme measures.

If we do catch him doing the Lord Haw Haw routine for Saddam, just make sure he goes to a prison without any "Aryan" gangs big enough to protect his punk ass....

And you felt you "had to" vote for a notoriously corrupt Democratic party hack because... Because David Duke as governor of Louisiana would have been 4 years of absolutely nothing being accomplished. I was living in the state at the time, and voted for the crook Edwards as well. I would have voted for the damn dog catcher in place of Duke. He was an ineffective legislator because nobody wanted to be associated with anything he had to offer, no matter how much sense it may have made. The same would have held true for him being governor. Louisiana is already a laughing stock, at least the people were smart enough to keep that final insult from happening.

Only white "racists" cannot speak their mind... everybody else get's to slam whitey at will...to great joy in the sick liberal world, I might add.

I live in St. Tammany Parish. This bastard ran a committee that considered itself the Parish Republican Party. This piece of white trash is an embarrassment to Louisiana. I hope he keeps his a$$ over there with his Arab buddies. By the way, I think he's under investigation by the US Attorney's office in New Orleans(same bunch who nailed Edwards) for using dues to his organization to pay for his gambling habits.

Exactly. Valuing diversity is a hobby for those who do not have to endure it's benefits. The biggest crime in America today is to appear intolerant, but only of "multiculturalistic" propaganda. I don't know Duke from Adam, but if the press and the marxists hate him so much, there has to be something "positive" in his words, otherwise he would be ignored. Additionally, the truth is the truth no matter where you find it. If "Barney the dinosauer" says the sky is blue, it doesn't lessen the truth of it. Duke obviously appears extreme and unsavory, and his past reeks of an extreme young lad, but how many of us have made daringly stupid mistakes in the impetuous rush of youth? And please do not attempt to compare having racist views being equal to violent crime or murder. Every race, person, and organization is has racial tendencies.
