There were times and places where Jews were treated better, and times and places where they were treated worse. On whole, Jews in Muslim areas (especially Spain) did much better than Jews in Christian areas.

On the whole, very few Jews are left in predominantly Muslim countries whereas half of world Jewery is in predominantly Christian countries.
