Even if the GOP does well and retakes the Senate, it gives the Dems and media something to scream and howl about, a way to smear Bush in what may turn into an otherwise great night. Plus given the looming reality that smarmy Dem tricks such as in AR may be a huge story tomorrow, it sure would help for the GOP to be able to portray themselves as standing on the ethical high ground.
