I voted here in MN. I was #274 for the day, and I voted at 9am. Good sign for Norm, as I live in a highly Republican District. I do wonder how the Governor's race will run in my district since Tim Penny's running mate, Martha Robinson, used to represent us.

Local talk radio (KSTP 1500) is reporting that turnout is high at all the polling places. It was snowing earlier, I was hoping that would discourage some of the DemonRats from showing up.

There is a flap up here regarding the supplemental ballots used to vote the Senatorial race. State law specifies that the ballot "must be handed directly to an election judge, who then immediately places it in the box". Seems that some voters were able to place it in the box BY THEMSELVES!. I'm just waiting to see if there will be a lawsuit filed on that!

Hang tough, FReepers!! :)

I voted in the Old North State (North Carolina to y'all who don't know what I'm talking about) for Liddy and a bunch of other Republicans. I really tried to see if the Dims had anyone worth voting for and the best they came up with was mediocre.

I just went out to vote and on the way there I saw an African-American police officer in a donut shop and was so intimidated that I turned back. Word out on the street is that there are hundreds of them all across America munching donuts, getting coffee, and occassionally pulling over speeders. Statistics show that most people pulled over for traffic violations by African-American state troopers are caucasian. Conspiracy or paranoid delusion - you decide.

I am going to try again later to vote at another percinct across town but fear they won't let me vote there either. I think I will file a lawsuit.
