Guys Zogby is a democrat. Enough said. Push poll heaven is their recipe
To: Ed_in_LA
Well, we'll all be able now to test Zogby again. Congressional or statewide elections are more difficult to poll than national elections.
I hate predicting (because I'm horrible at it) but my gut and tea-leaves and poll readings lead me to think that Hutchinson goes down in Ark., Coleman pulls it out in Minn., Cleland goes down in Georgia, Laut squeaks by in Mob-NJ, Allard survives in Colorado, Bush and Dole win, and I've got no sense at all in S.D. (actually, I've probably got no sense at all, but that's another matter).
Zogby seems way off in Texas, but then he probably doesn't feel at home there anyway. So, depending on S.D. which could bump it one more, that'd give the Pubbies a +1 in the Senate, and Lincoln Chafee gets ready to get both cheeks kissed over and over.

I'm praying for cold and rain to keep the old dem senior citizens home! That looks to be the case in the southeast on Tuesday.

The Cornyn race has me biting my nails. The blacks have NOT been voting in large numbers in early voting. I think it's part of a plan to lull Republicans in to a false sense of security and they will hit the polls in large numbers on Tuesday.

They would like for Republicans to get frustrated and stay home. NO WAY! I'm VOTING no matter what the POLLS say! If I am the ONLY one voting Republican so be it!!! They will NOT discourage me from getting out and FIGHTING this fight!!! It didn't work!!!

It is worth repeating. MSNBC question of the day is "Is the economy the most important issue?" I am looking for CNN PMSNBC and ABCCBSNBC to really pull out all the stops to be slanted. Stories I am looking for: Divided government is good government, Blacks were robbed in 2000, Party of the Rich, Memorial Campaign, Republican Dirty Tricks, AND THE BIG ONE: VOTER APATHY!
I will vote, No rain, wind, storm, snow, mob, threats, promises, or weakness of others will stop me from voting as my right or as my duty.

He was dead on in 2000 and in the Republican Revolution in 94. I hope he is wrong, but I wouldn't dismiss him.
To: jraven
My bias with regard to Zogby is related to interviews I've seen him participate in since 09/11. Frankly I'll never see him in the same light again. I used to think he was a pretty good guy. His logic on the middle-east is quite twisted. I came away from my observations with a very negative impression of him.
To: Scott from the Left Coast
I'll be stunned if Cleland loses in GA.

There is no truth to zogby he is a DNC hack! yeh. Once he came out of the democrat closet, he lost my respect. Now I just see polls and say 'good' or 'bad', but they really aren't legit anymore. They're either good propaganda or bad propaganda. I wouldn't bet my vote on them.

Cook on Meet the Press this morning says that THume will win in a squeaker, Talent will win and Coleman has a very good chance of wining. He also said that there will be a run off in Louisiana, so the senate outcome will not be known until Dec. 7th. We are pullijg for any of the three republicans who are running against Landrieu, Cooksey, Terrell or Perkins, the RNC is endorsing, Terrell, who looks good, The governor is endorsing Cooksey and the Traditional VAlues and christian coalition is behind Perkins. Landrieu is polling about 44% right now.

Zogby's numbers are very laughably off when it comes to state polls.
- Tied with California in 2000 national election
- Hillary losing by quite a bit
- This is the guy who uses a "fair" category on a poll as a negative to make Bush look bad
- Predicted Florida & Wisconsin wrong
He's dead wrong on statewide polls but adds some special sauce to his national polls (about 3%) to account for voter fraud, and bingo, he's right.

Don't forget the welfare cheats. They will still get out and vote, but it will cost the demonrats more if it is raining. The cold rain won't have any affect on the dead voters. They don't seem to be bothered by much of anything.
To: TN4Liberty
I thought he was wrong in 2000...
To: DoughtyOne
Zogby has been accurate in the past. What surprises me this year are the following: Jeb Bush up by 15 in Florida; the doddering widder Carnahan up by 1 in Missouri; the "good" Ryan up by fraction in Illinois; Strickland up by 9 in Colorado; Kirk down by only 1 in Texas. I haven't seen numbers like these anywhere; he appears to be about five to seven percent too high or too low in each case compared to the other pollsters. I don't think Zogby cooks his polls; this is big business for him and his polling accuracy reputation is extremely important in getting new clients. Anyone have any ideas here?

Zogby is an admitted DemocRAT whose poll numbers are suspect IMHO. I will always believe that Zogby was tipped to the enormous of amount of fraud in S. Fl during the 2000 race and thus why he changed his numbers for Gore.
Believe the Cornyn numbers really tip the scale and same with Minnesota and SD in just how low Zogby has stooped to depress Republican voter turnout.
To: Ima Lurker
It is raining in Arkansas almost all weekend and most of next week. COLD RAIN, I might add. The dog doesn't even want to go out and he LOVES outside even in the snow(whenever we get any).
I'm voting, period! I'll crawl if I must!
Tue Nov 05 Rain 56°/48° 80 %
