Woman Is Detained in Sniper Hunt

My gut says the same thing.
Perhaps a Black Muslim (converted) originally from the Caribbean? Former Armed forces vet?
Isn't (wasn't) there nearby a stronghold of black muslims who had links to the middle east? Some camps, villages, or the like?
Yes, I'm reaching, too. Just irritated and annoyed.

Very seldom does a single post by a FReeper deserve a thread of it's own. In this case, I think it does.

When I heard who had been arrested, I thought I recalled a FR denizen correctly projecting the snipers identity. Thanks for the post & good call MonroeDNA.

What about these on the same thread:To: concerned about politics A tarot card would point toward some of the darker religions, vudu, etc. Black followers of Islam might have non Islamic family memebers dancing to a different drummer, so access to the cards would be close at hand. Same situation as inferior education would come into play, great thing I haave long arms, as I seem even to myself to be reaching...

To: tall_tex That is exactly what I was thinking. Black Muslim, tarot card stolen from mother or sister. Foreign, not here long.

Thought you ought to enjoy your applause.
I'm watching some of the talking head experts who didn't come anywhere close to getting this right. I can't believe they will still show their faces...but why not? Nobody calls them on their mistakes.
But you Mr. DNA, done good!

We need FREEPERS instead of those talking head idiots on TV we make more sense than most of them combined. Not a single profiler had this guy pegged.I was not surprised that he had sympathies with the 911 crowd. In fact I told the wife during this thing that if he was shooting from a van i would not be surprised that he had a port cut in the side so he could shoot from the van and therfore hide the weapon. So when I heard that he had done that in the Chevy Caprice I thought.Holy Cow.Now, the only thing I am curious about now is if this guy was homeless and living out of his car, how did he keep up with the news on the shooter and I am still wondering if he was not like Stepehen Reid, the shoe bomber, or even Tim McViegh who I think had help in carrying out the bombing of the Murrah building.I doubt we will ever know.I am grateful they captured them without a gunfight so that no police officers were hurt.

Great sleuth work!

I guess this means we're no longer looking for an AWOL French Soldier driving a white truck? ;)

LOL. Yeah, that guy can climb out from under whatever rock he has been hiding under for the last several months, and a lot of other people can rip the "For Sale" signs off their white vans.

I know the Feds used to monitor our threads. They have as much admitted it. But, of course, that program started during the days of der Arkhanfuhrer. Whether they do now or not, I dunno.
Maybe they should. I am sure that they could get a lot of insights. Maybe even solve a real crime.

Yep. He skunked me. My hunch was completely wrong. Does anybody at FR have the handle, "Chief Moose?"
To: mywholebodyisaweapon
No, but it's only matter of time before someone grabs "Deputy Chief Squirrel".

One remarkable thing about FR is the way the bull sessions regularly produce stunningly accurate insights. I remember that during Luke Helder's pipe-bomb spree, it had been observed by at least one Freeper that nutty Luke seemed to be trying to draw a happy face on the map. That was *days* before it was confirmed as true.
I guess several thousand heads are better than one!

I have reason to believe that my phone and computer lines have been bugged for the past year or so. Since I log on to Free Republic every day they would not have to bug FR directly.
There are probably a lot of other "Right Wing Nuts" (read: Freepers) like me that are being bugged also.
Keep your powder dry and your eyes and ears open! Big Brother is watching.
