Thank you!
If these two are the murderers, they are murderers because they're sick and twisted, not because they are of a certain race or religion.

Nice bigoted comment. Lemme guess, are you a bible-thumping Christian 'cause you also fit in that category you're tyring to place "Muslims" in.

If he was so anti-American, why did he pick people like an Afro-American bus driver? That victim could have been a Muslim convert like himself. It seems that he would have wanted to make more of a "statement" with his victims than average people just minding their own business. If he was such a good shot (and obviously thought himself clever) why didn't he go after a Donald Trump, Ken Ley, or a Martha Stewart, or do a "Taxi Driver" spree against some lesser but accessible political candidate?

It's truly sad that you're so incredibly blind to anything but your own faith.
Look through the history of Christianity and you can see just as much death and violence through the ages.
You can take violent verses out of the Bible just as you can out of the Kuran.
I find radical Islam just as frightening as the next person. But don't condemn the entire faith because some people choose to interpret it in a very sick and violent manor.

"Since he's committed to his religion have you ever asked him to explain some of the more "unpleasant" verses in the Koran?"
Explain similar ones in the Bible. We have just as many, if not more.
While radical Christians in the U.S. aren't posing a direct terrorist threat (yet), read into the history of the faith and you'll find that it hasn't always been peaceful.
As religions go, Islam is the young kid on the block.
The seeming ground swell of radical Islam concerns me a lot but if they were all like that, at 1 billion strong in number, we'd all be slain.

BIG difference! The tale you've referenced from the Bible is a description of a battle with an enemy.
The quotes from the Koran are puported to be the words of Allah, giving instruction on how to treat (ie, Slay) disbelievers.
NO-WHERE does the Bible say "Kill a muslim", or "Kill a Hindu"

I remember the Panthers in the sixties. They were scary dudes. I remember them standing on streetcorners, stepping right in front of you, and barking "so why do YOU hate black people?" I would usually say, "well, I didn't until NOW."
By the way, can you translate this----> (IIRC!) I keep seeing it but haven't a clue what it says. Thanks.

Yup
1 .223 slug at a time.
Speaking of "unpleasant verses" in the Bible, would you care to submit one that directs Christians to slay an individual because they are muslim?
And since by that cute "(yet)" you've indicated that radical christians may someday pose a terrorist threat, well, I agree! Just like radical environmentalists, radical animal rights groups, radical anything!
The big difference here is that the islamic religion teaches that it's proper and even demanded that Christians, Jews, and Polytheists be shunned, cheated, and destroyed. These guys are not viewed as radical by the islamic world, instead they are heroes.
I've spent a lot of time in the Mideast, specifically Qatar, and I can verify that, at best, they only tolerate our existence as long as they can get $omething out of it.
When THAT stops, and they have all the guns and money, THEN we'll all be slain.

Not even radical Christians certainly posed a threat to the druids.

John Alan Muhammed and John Lee Malvo shown in a recent family photo provided by Muhhamed's former sister-in-law, Sheron Norman.

Nope -- totally objective comment. You're the bigot.
To: Michael2001
It'll get better. Any day now, we'll be hearing how the anti-muslim post 9-11 backlash made him do it.

Not even radical Christians certainly posed a threat to the druids.I'm not sure what your sentence means, or even if it is a sentence. But if, on the off chance, you mean the Christians wiped out the druids, then why do I decorate a Christmas tree every year, and why is a tree hoisted to the top of nearly every tall building under construction?
Religions and cultures get wiped out for a number of reasons. There's a hot debate going on about the pre-history of South and Central America.
One thing about American culture -- we do not wipe out other cultures. I will admit we have taken land and forced natives into reservations. These may are may not constitute theft -- oddly enough, American culture allows these claims into court. And in the case of the Seminoles in Florida, the case was settled amicably, reparations were paid.
But Americans have never declared other cultures and other religions to be illegal.
Islam is a very special case because it does not distinguish between religious and political authority. This is totally incompatible with the most fundamental reason for the founding of our country. It is impossible to reconcile with Islam except on terms of victory.
Freepers old enough to remember the cold war will recall 70 years of apologists for communism (they had better health care, etc). We did not kill or deport communists (indeed, they dominate our universities); we did not bomb them, but we did defeat them. We will do the same with Islam.
When we are finished, perhaps a hundred years from now, there will still be muslims, but they will have dropped their Nazi rhetoric, learned to co-exist with other religions, granted equality to women -- in short, they will not be what they are today.

You are the king of knee-jerk reactions against religion so I would guess you know the word for it as well as anyone.
