Well, I talked to Dad's surgeon. He's in surgery now for his arm. The short story is he'll likely be in the hospital in Denver for a week or 10 days. I'm heading for Denver tomorrow (driving). I'll leave in the morning.

He was banged up pretty badly, but his worse injury was his arm. They said it was amazing - they could see tendon, etc., but he'll still be able to use it, fortunately, cause the tendons weren't damaged. Anyway, it looks like no FReepin' for me for a while til I get back to Texas. I was thinking about leaving tonight, but I don't think so at this point. Probably just get up REAL early.

Ya'll hold everything together for me, ok?, lol !

Oh Meekie I'm so sorry - I guess we sorta hoped it would be just an in and out kind of hospital thing for your dad. Didn't realize the arm was injured that badly - thank goodness it's fixable. We will think of you all and pray for you - please take care of yourself, too.

We will miss you. Try to get word to us how things are going. Ask at the hospital-some of them do allow families computer use...They may not appreciate you freeping all day but perhaps they will give you enough time online to write us a quick note.

Have you seen the movie the Banger Sisters yet? It is so very funny and if you had a 30 year crush on Mick Jagger, you will really love that movie.

No, unfortunately, I haven't seen that one. .45MAN and I have boycotted any and all things Hollywierd since President Bush was elected. All of the mean-spirited tripe that came out of Hollywierd and continues to has turned me off forever.

The bad thing is, I have missed some good films, from what I've heard. The good thing is, I'm not helping to line the pockets of Alec (Yecccchhhh) Baldwin, Rob Reiner, BahBahwah Striesand, et al.
