She has shared some things about her sis before...so it seems natural to further expound a little. If she hadn't been a regular, and if we didn't know anything about her..I can see where you are coming from.

Kim, I hadn't understood her sister works for LE. Should we try to pry a little more out of her today or leave it alone?

No I don't think you do see where I am coming from. This is the second poster that I have seen in the last 24 hours that is running their mouth about having information from an inside source.

Good security procedures dictate that if you have sensitive information, you keep it to yourself. I am more concerned about your friend’s sister who, if she is in a position to be privy to sensitive information, is disclosing it to third parties who do not have a need to know, particularly family members who are notorious for blabbering. My tax dollars should be going to retain people who are of a higher caliber than that. Being someone who had a top-secret security clearance in the military and routinely handled classified information, I have some knowledge about these matters.

Unfortunately retrieving information from public sources that can be used against organization is really pretty easy to do. Just the hint that something might be in the wind could be cause for taking evasive action.

So if Vallygirl is a friend of yours, be a friend a tell her to put a lid on it. Like it says all over this board, "Loose Lips Sink Ships."
