So they know WHO he is now -- they just don't know WHERE he is. And what is going on in that shooter's mind about now? He is going to get caught, he is not going to pass GO, and he is not going to collect his $10 mill. What is he going to do tonight?
I think they'll get him. I couldn't say this publically yesterday, but I've been suspecting since reports of that letter and the $10M, that stories related to that were a psy-op to bring out the sniper or one of his group to contact the task force. I think the money was designed to cause infighting among a cell (which one of us is trying to collect ten million?) or to make a lone sniper angry that someone else was about to collect all that money off of his "work".
If I'm right about Osman, they might have used the story to convince him that he was sitting in jail while his buddies were collecting ten million...
