Yea, its just another Internet poll but right now it only has a 46% approval for the President and a 48% disapproval. The DU crowd has a link and apparently is voting at the TROA site - as a retired Marine this irks me a bit. The poll is open.

Hello,
I'm curious to know if you have the actual post on DU where the poll was referrenced for freeping. I'd like to see the post for myself. It seems to me that the results might have been completely valid, many TROA members (inclucing this one) are angry with Bush and DoD because of their oppostion to repealing concurrent reciept. This issue is the only thing holding up the defense authorization bill!
Do you think it's fair that disabled retirees forfeit a dollar of military retired pay for each dollar of VA disability? Do you think it's right for Bush's veto threat to hold up this bill in spite of the fact that 83% of the Senate and 90% of the House are cosponsors of the original bill?
I appreciate your loyalty, but Bush is wrong on this and the legislators who back down should be held accountable! Those of you who care about the issues, use the site for learning about the issues and contacting your legislators rather playing games with meaningless polls.
Respectfully,
Pollexter

TROA should then place their polls in a members only section of the web page. This would ensure that results reflect those of TROA members who wish to particpate in meaningless polls. This poll only allowed one vote each and reflected the beliefs those who desired to vote on an "open" poll - not a TROA members only poll.

Thanks Dave. Oh well, I would have been interested to see how TROA members felt on the issue. Now I've spent a little time reading on FR, let's see if I can communicate here.
Stupid liberals!! We sure showed them a thing or two! I hate Clinton! Bush is great!
God bless America!

You have spent an hour and a half here. Quite a lot of intelligent debate goes, but of course, you came here with an agenda and an intent to disrupt.

My appologies, hope I didn't disrupt too much. I'll go look for the intelligence now...

Poll is closed and in MHO more accurately reflects what retired, active duty and reserve military members feel with a margin of error of approximetely 0%. Thanks for helping out here and we only had one DU disruptor on the thread.

Well, if I had to clean another head (latrine for you) I would much rather it be a FReeper porta pottie than the anti-everything crowd. What a contrast last April, comparing our area to the rat's across Constitution Ave. Moreover, the only damage done to our heads - intentional or not - was early on when we let a few of them use the porta potties we rented with our own money.
