I doubt an announcement will be made, if that's the case.

Either, they could gob it off as Pakistanis only. We'd never know.

FOX....Well, I think Mark Fuhrman should be listened to. I find his thought the best yet. You can't take 6 jurisdictions and try to co-ordinate this thing. You need one leader. And that leader should not be Chief Moose.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO LET THE PEOPLE KNOW WHAT CARDS YOU HOLD !! And stop the news conferences. Work with the media and don't show the van like they did this morning.

The announcement of the planes overhead was wrong! The White House now looks bad. All of this should not be given out in conferences.

Fuhrman also said that it is going too fast. Understandibly, you want to calm the public, but they need to slow down and allow the Dectives, lead Decectives to make the decisions, not administrators.

When you take control out of the hands of the people who do this every day, you are taking away the expertise needed in this.( Detectives )

I am beginning to get upset with all the 24/7 banter on cable. It is too much. They need to do their work w/o all this information going out.

There are too many voices giving opinions and then the facts change. This is getting too much. It is getting embarrassing as far as I am concerned.

How does a killer like this go about scouting out his next place? I mean, what would someone watch for? A man out tromping around, driving around looking for what, woods, multiple exits, etc. That last place, the Ponderosa was uncanny it was so perfect for what he did with it. The view from the air showed so many ways he could have left, it was unreal. How did he find that place? Did it take him 5 days?

>>Denying Dowdy bail on a misdemeanor charge is highly unusual,

Unless its protective custody.

The tinfoil is beautiful with bright colors in NewEngland this time of the year.

Do you think the Franklin shot at Home Depot was a close shot or a long one?

I don't know. I suppose the rest of the evidence favors a long shot, but I'm just not the one to ask about forensics. Just happening to kill FBI intelligence analyst Linda Franklin, even if she had nothing to do with the sniper investigation, I find very hard to accept as a coincidence. If, however, my suspicion is correct that she was working in that investigation, then I think the coincidence becomes impossible to accept. And that I suspect is the reason the authorities have denied that she was working in that investigation. Admitting that would enable the public to draw too many conclusions that the authorities would prefer we not draw.

I'm glad you made that point -- it's not blackmail -- it's extortion.

How did he find that place? Did it take him 5 days?

All I know is what I read: "Former CIA Spy: Sniper Has Military Training

(snip)

"He's a pro. This man is an assassin," Fred Wettering said...And at least twice, the killer likely left his vehicle, waiting for his prey in the woods, with a high-powered, military-type rifle to deliver the same deadly .223-caliber round again and again.

"He's a pro in the sense that he's comfortable handling a military-type weapon and tramping through the woods in the middle of the night. He knows what he's doing," Wettering said.

And he's able to escape in front of or around roadblocks.

"Police roadblocks work if they know what they're looking for. I don't think they know what they're looking for," Wettering said.

Does the sniper scout out the sites, or does he delegate that task to associates?

I drove by there today. There's an elementary school with fence and shrubs 100 yards max across from the Home Depot - elevated 30+ feet above the Home depot ...
