An invading army is approaching. Disengenuous. My point was to show that you might have more than one opinion depending upon the circumstance. We are agreed that the threat is not as great as if a full regiment were approaching (unless you're really serious and would leave children in a building to "go about their business" even in the face of an eminent threat).
But VA is a soverign state and has the authority to close schools even if it makes people in other states angry.

Of course they do, but that doesn't mean the rest of the country can't comment. If we couldn't comment on what other States did or didn't do then 1/2 the stuff on FR would be out of bounds.
NJ and FLA elections, gun laws of various states, etc. come to mind.
