Maybe your English reading skills are poor. I responded to a poster (wonders, I think) that asked a question that the name sounded more Muslim than Serb. I responded that IF IT WAS a Muslim, he may have been Abdic's Muslims. Since Abdic's Muslims fought with the Serbs, I have seen many Western media call/confuse them with Serbs in the past. Never once did I say he wasn't a Serb, just explaining if he was a Muslim he may have been confused with a Serb.

Sheesh, you Croats are sure selective in both your history and reading comprehensions, aren't you?

Your statement stands in contradiction with Croatia's conviction of "warlord" Abdic, the leader of said Bihac Muslims.

Tropoljac: Why would Croatia demand the extradiction of an ally that fought for Abdic?

Well, I wouldn't exactly call the Abdic followers allies of Croatia, but I wondered why Croatia would accuse an Abdic follower of war crimes, as it seems that, normally, any "war crimes" committed by an Abdic follower would be a matter for BiH (read the Hague), not Croatia.

Tropoljac:Even if that was the case, it still doesn't make sense because Abdic's Muslims didn't fight against Croats. They fought strictly against the 5th in the Bihac Pocket.

Correct. The fight was between the "Abdic People" and the Bosnian Muslim 5th Corps. RSK sometimes joined in with "Abdic People" in shelling 5th Corps.

Golly, guys, I didn't mean to start a big argument. And thank you both for lots of interesting info.

Arambasic sounded like a Muslim surname to me, although I know that Mitar is often a Serb given name. I also know that Croats, Serbs and Muslims can have the same surnames. And there has been intermarriage for generations. Here's a another possibility: I know there were a number of marriages between Serbs in Sector North and Muslims and Serbs in Bihac. They guy could be a Serb or a "Heinz 57."

Wonder what war crimes he's accused of?
