That's what got Dubya talking with me at one of the meets - I'd said during the usual handshake down the line routine that I thought his father was a fine man. Dubya stopped to talk for quite a while then. Hadn't liked Dubya when he first appeared on the scene - don't believe in moderates for political strategy - believe in much more black and white - but he impressed me more than I'd anticipated. McCain was normal when the camera was on him and a complete nut case when the red eye wasn't on him. Many others noticed it and we were pretty shocked. He's been through a horrible ordeal and believe me, it's quite apparent when you meet him. May be a good guy, but mentally he is not presidential material.
