Digital cameras, either still or video, are great because the pictures don't need to be developed by anybody. You can just look at them on your screen or print them on your regular printer - or send them by e-mail.

BTW, I thought that was a very good idea about the campgrounds/RV parks. Staying in one of these, of course, they could also use a legitimately registered car (or RV)with out-of-state plates that would make them less likely to be objects of suspicion. (Well, unless they're Florida plates, that is...)

Does anybody remember reading a couple of weeks ago, just before this started, about an al Qaeda "banker" who was picked up by the FBI in Florida? He had bought a one-way ticket to Palatka, a small town that is a stop on the Amtrak line, but aroused suspicion because of a problem with his ID when he tried to buy the ticket at the train station (somewhere in South Florida). He was already under surveillance by the FBI and they arrested him. (I think he was found to have several IDs on him when they arrested him!)

The relevant point is that the article said that, for some reason, he was believed to be on his way to DC.

livius: You're absolutely right. I'm still in love with my 35mm. That adds "computer" to the picture, yes??

It may be that just before the hit, they take the N,S,E,W view of previously photographed sites and make sure nothing has changed (cameras etc) to alter the plan.
