More made up bull crap. The shooter was on a bank with schrubs across the street. He shot from the prone position and left no clues.
The parking lanes are one way. Are we to believe this killer in the white van turned the wong way down a one way lane. If he was going the proper direction he pulled up behind the guy backing out. It is hard to get a good look through the body of your vehicle over your shoulder at a while van behind you.
But if the guy was going the wrong way it is very likely that he would not sit and glare. He is a killer trying to get away. If he doesn't get several miles down the road before the road is blocked he is toast. He has a rifle in the van. He can't get stopped and searched.
If he saw a car backing out blocking his way, he would be in reverse and backing out before any one could get much of a look at him. He would be looking in his rear view mirror or over his own shoulder backing up.
This liarn is no more credible than the last liar. They just can't prove he did not see a van or he would be in jail too. But he certainly did not see the van of a killer. Most likely he is making it up. I doubt there is a white van.
More likely a guy wearing a priests collar and driving a Ford Fiesta with a parsih name on the door.

I agree that anyone who claimed to see the shooter in the Home Depot lot, or leaving in a van from the lot is likely full of it. This because, as you noted, the shooter, as has been his M.O., most likely shot from accross Hwy 50. From that side of the street its an easy escape West or North with right turns to side streets. From within the Home Depot lot, traffic has to go out a one-way frontage road to eastbound Hwy 50 or through the sometimes-crowded parking lot to other exits.

Are you sure those lanes are one way? I've been to that Home Depot before, and I don't recall that. Also, the spot across Route 50 where they think the shot was fired from is just a matter of speculation. While it does offer an very good view of the parking deck, there is no direct evidence of a shot comming from there, and it is not an ideal location: the bushes that are there are not thick enough to offer much consealment and it is right beside a number of garden apartments.

Ever thought that the witness may have pulled forward, having backed into a parking spot, or pulled thru from the adjacent parking spot?
This then would put the witness in a perfect spot to view the occupants of the "van". The witness may have pulled into the lane, blocking the escaping terrorists lane, having hesitated momentarilly and getting a good look at the perps.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions that this witness is a LIAR.
