I think we should put Saddam on the back burner, and keep watching him carefully. But direct our big effort to Iran, Saudi Arabia, and North Korea?

Is it my imagination, or does this pic show Mad Maddie's attempt to put a girlish flip to her hair? (I seem to recall her calling Kim Jong Il "charming.")

Maddie: "OK, let's repeat the toast for the press."

KJI: "All right. They'll like that."

[ later ... ]

Maddie: "Here, Mr. Kim. Just one more toast."

KJI: This is the 14th toast, Madeline.

Maddie: "There are a lot of photographers, and they all need a chance. Just one more toast."

KJI: "Wellllll, all right. But that's a lot of toasting.... Hm. Did you do something with your hair?"

[ later ... ]

Maddie: "C'mon Kimmy. Just one more toast. That's the last photographer."

KJI: "Wellllll, all right. But 37 toasts seems a bit... did I tell you how lovely you look? You really do look lovely. Veerryyy lovely, if you know what I mean."

Maddie: (blushing) "Ohhhh, Kimmy. (giggle) Give me five minutes to get into something more comfortable...."

The mind reels....

You started it.

That ol' "legacy" just never quits giving:

U.S., North Korea near war in 1994 / Clinton got no-nuke vow

I guess between chasing/raping women and soliciting Chinese/Indonesian money. mr. bill was too preoccupied to pay attention to little things like national security...
