Wow! I've also heard that chicken is a source of xenoestrogens. I think people are just now becoming aware of the foreign hormones that are in the food chain. I have a feeling that 20 years from now, a lot of our reproductive-related cancers are going to be linked to artificial hormones.

There seems to be a growing industry of farms that produce livestock free of hormones and excessive antibiotics. It's capitalism at it's finest. There are people out there like me willing to pay $2 - $5 dollars more at the grocery for the product.

A few years back in Puerto Rico, there were boys (and girls), but of course the boys were noticed more, because they were growing breasts! They discovered that the chickens raised by the local farmers had a very high content of estrogen!
