"It is clear, the gun industry stands ready to arm and train anyone with the fantasy of being a real life sniper," I knew this would be next after the "assault" rifles.
Anything on which a scope can be mounted will be called a "Sniper" rifle and outlawed, .22 rimfire to H&H Magnum - after which only the outlaws will have them.
I hate it when I'm right.

Let me see if I've got this straight. What this braying jackass Conyers is saying is that the criminal element gets up extra early on weekends to check out the hunting shows on TV. Yup, I can see that. I imagine that they also subscribe to Field and Stream too. Puh-leeze!

Thanks for the post.
Diaz indirectly accused firearms manufacturers of contributing to the shootings in the Washington, D.C. area.
"It is clear, the gun industry stands ready to arm and train anyone with the fantasy of being a real life sniper," he claimed. "Tragically, the nation is now witnessing the horror of that potential realized."
And Mr. Diaz begins his dancing in blood routine, repeated after any sensational firearms-related incident. I don't believe anyone takes his accusations seriously. Other than the usual suspects, no politician is going to take this on the road - assuming they want to be re-elected.

I don't believe anyone takes his accusations seriously. Other than the usual suspects, no politician is going to take this on the road - assuming they want to be re-elected. Your mission, and you really should accept it, is to make sure that the politicians who depend on your vote are aware that you hold this opinion. At the cost of about $0.40 per politician (if you use USPS), that adds up to less than the cost of a box of centerfire rifle or pistol ammunition. It's a really cheap way to defend freedom.

And Detroit continues to make and market automobiles that are used in deadly fashon everyday...

The unfortunate consequence of this killer is the tainting of all shooters as "sniper wannabees". This will bring further gun bans that may send this country into civil war.

I have a Conyers tag on my hunting license.

American Civil War II, coming soon to a neighborhood near you.
Refuse registration.
Resist confiscation.
Remember the lessons of the twentieth century, and act accordingly.

I guess Conyers will be attacking Boeing next for marketing wide-bodies to Al-Qaida.
To: Tumbleweed_Connection
Conyers of course, is once again speaking from his posterior.

What needs to be regulated is conyers' sniping mouth! His ammo is hollow-point lies and his caliber is socialist with max-capacity magazine.

The gunmakers should sue Conyers for defamation.
