What a sweet and moving post, dutchess. There is such a bond between veterans that's just there - it's unspoken, but it's there - you can see it in tears in their eyes when they remember with another veteran, when they see our flag, when they talk about our great country, when they see a President that they admire, (didn't see a lot of that from Jan 93 till Jan 01, did we?)

It's the intangible recognition and appreciation of the selfless sacrifice that each were willing to make for their country and for each other.
