AS the United States inches toward war, an ugly myth is getting another public airing: that minorities and the poor do most of the dying in combat.

Rep. Charles Rangel (D-Harlem) made the claim again just last week, saying he opposed the anti-Iraq resolution because the military is largely made up of black, Hispanic and poor whites who join for economic reasons.

One more example of the left wing liars. They'll say anything, and often do anything, to gain or retain power. The power to create in the United States, their own version of a Marxist/Socialist utopia. As in the formere Soviet Union, most of them would be the first ones shot, once they were no longer useful idiots, but just idiots.

I was just listening to a internet radio broadcast from Australia a couple hours ago to hear what they had to say about the terrorist attack in Bali (not much). But the show had a guest on who was parroting this same disinformation. I knew he was wrong, but I didn't have a link to the proper information at the time.

One truth that has survived the onslaught of Reichwing propoganda is that Chicken Hawks like Dumbya, Cheney, and their Repukie enablers including Rush Limbaugh, Pat Buchanan, Mark Racicot, and Newt Gingrich, don't die in combat in disporportionate numbers. The Chicken Hawks have done everything they can to avoid military service, especially the type of service exposing them to overseas combat where their worthless, overweight butts might be wounded or worse.
